In just a few days we’ll be celebrating Canada Day and the 4th of
July. We’ve got some tips to keep the busy day of celebration a
little less hectic and some free goodies too.

First, here are some tips to keep the kids from getting over
anxious or bored before the fireworks begin.

- Have a BBQ and invite a few of your child’s friends to help
keep them occupied.
- Let the kids help decorate and set things up before hand.
- Be sure to have lots of water games like sprinklers, water
balloons and slip and slides.
- Enlist their help with clean up. Let them know that the more
they help the sooner you can watch the fireworks.

With these few tips it will be time to watch the night sky light up
before they know it and when the last firework goes off they’ll
be wore out and ready for bed. And our last tip is just for you
Mom. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
